The Golden Islands, Porquerolles and Port Cros
An unspoilt setting

The islands of Hyères are a real natural jewel, just a few minutes by boat from the Giens peninsula. Porquerolles is a little corner of paradise, lined with beaches, such as the famous ‘Notre Dame’ with clear, turquoise waters, and a charming village centre with typical restaurants, ice cream shops and many bike rental companies which will allow you to explore the island from a different perspective. Port Cros, which has been a National Park since 1963, is the smallest of the islands and also the most mountainous and wild. Several marked hiking trails allow you to discover an exceptional and unspoilt nature. You can also try snorkelling, diving or visit the seabed aboard the Aquascope boat.

To explore the Îles d'Or from the Tikayan campsites near Hyères and the Var coast, exclusive benefits have been negotiated with our partners: Espace Mer (Hyères/La Tour-Fondue, diving and boat trips in the Pelagos Sanctuary) offers preferential rates with your Tikayan wristband; Route du Sud (Hyères, boat hire to Porquerolles and Port-Cros) gives -10%; Vedettes Îles d'Or et le Corsaire (regular ferries to Porquerolles, Port-Cros and Le Levant) gives -5%; Black Tenders (Cannes, boat excursions and hire along the Riviera) -10% with code TIKAYANSUMMER2025. All these partners are within easy reach of Tikayan's Var campsites.
